Adheres and seals even directly under water
The adhesive and sealant can be conventionally applied on dry, but also on wet surfaces and even directly under water. It has been developed for installations and repairs on brick or concrete swimming pools, swimming pools, whether built-in pools or above-ground pools, as well as whirlpools, paddling pools, steel wall pools, garden ponds, aquariums, and similar applications.
Even without a surface treatment with adhesion primers, excellent adhesion is achieved. The product can be applied wet on wet, is overpaintable and compatible with paint.
After the adhesive and sealant has set, it remains permanently elastic, making it excellent for expansion joints. This is especially important for outdoor applications, to compensate for example, expansions and tensions of floor and wall coverings.
Whether it's acid rain weathering, saltwater, chlorinated water, or household cleaners, the product impresses with high resistance and does not discolor. Dirt practically does not stick to it and can always be removed effortlessly.
Due to the UV resistance, joint sealings and adhesive points do not become brittle or crumbly. In addition, the adhesive and sealant is resistant to extreme cold down to -40 °C and heat up to +100 °C (briefly even up to +130 °C).
The product is resistant to mold and bacteria. Therefore, it is also suitable for use under humid-warm environmental conditions.
This adhesive and sealant is free of silicone, solvents, and contains no diisocyanates, which are often triggers for respiratory diseases.
