Application Instructions
For optimal results, the surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry, and free of grease or oil. Mix equal parts of the two components in a 1:1 ratio and apply the epoxy resin adhesive to the bonding surfaces within 5 minutes. At higher temperatures, the 2K epoxy resin will react faster. The adhesive will be handling-ready after 10-15 minutes and reaches its full strength after approximately 2-3 hours. Excess resin can be mechanically worked and painted over once cured. This 2-component adhesive is excellent for bonding metal to plastic, bonding rubber to metal, and many other applications.
Technical Specifications
The Everglue 5-Minute Epoxy is based on epoxy resin Bisphenol-A (Component A) and an amine mixture (Component B). The adhesive is transparent and has a viscosity of ~8,000-16,000 mPa·s at +25 °C. The density is 1.1 g/ml. The cured resin has a hardness of 60 Shore D and a temperature resistance of -50 °C to +80 °C. The gap-filling capacity is 3 mm, and the final strength is achieved after 24 hours. With a shear strength of over 10 MPa (N/mm²) and an elasticity modulus of 90,000-125,000 psi, this epoxy resin 2-component adhesive is ideal for demanding applications. It is also suitable for filling cracks in wood with epoxy resin and for use as a 2K component adhesive for various materials.
