Contact adhesives
Contact adhesives are specialized adhesives known for creating extremely strong, durable bonds between two surfaces, often upon initial contact. Typically applied to both surfaces to be bonded, these adhesives need a brief flash-off time before the surfaces are firmly pressed together. The resulting bond is often water and temperature-resistant, characterized by high initial tack and enduring strength. Contact adhesives are available in various formulations to cater to different materials and applications, making them a reliable choice for diverse bonding needs.
Temperature Resistant from -40 °C to +140 °C
Particularly noteworthy is the product's high resistance to extreme cold and heat. This makes it suitable for demanding tasks such as the professional lining of a vehicle's headliner, which is exposed to high temperatures on hot summer days.
The spraying occurs in the form of fine adhesive threads ("spider webs"). A dense network of lightly foaming adhesive threads lays over the material without penetrating it. This leaves significantly more active adhesive on the surface, resulting in substantially fewer adhesive fumes than with a conventional aerosol.
