By complying with the UN 38.3 directive, we ensure that our lithium batteries can be safely transported by land, water, and air. The test criteria include altitude simulation, thermal resistance tests, vibration, shock, external short circuit, impact, overload, and a forced discharge.
With the IP67 protection class, the lithium battery has complete touch protection. Dust cannot penetrate, and the housing offers protection against the effects of temporary immersion in water. Therefore, the battery can be used safely outdoors and can be exposed directly to the weather. If there are any attached dirt residues, the housing can be easily rinsed off with a garden hose.
With more than 100 Wh, this lithium battery falls into Hazardous Goods Class 9 and may not, among other things, be shipped as a DHL package. Therefore, when ordering, we exclusively book hazardous goods shipping with DPD to ensure that the delivery arrives safely and in compliance with the applicable transport guidelines.
