Acetoxy-Curing Silicone Sealant
The Everglue Silicone based on acetoxy (acetic acid release) is a permanently elastic sealant for indoor and outdoor use. Particularly noteworthy is its high temperature resistance from -60 °C to +300 °C, significantly expanding its range of applications. As a sealing joint compound for expansion joints, the silicone minimizes occurring pressure and tensile stresses as well as dynamic loads such as shocks and vibrations. In high-temperature areas, it is particularly suited for sealing CERAN® glass ceramic cooktops, air conditioning and heating devices, oven and flue pipes, oven windows, and many other applications where heat is a factor. Solid gasket replacements for machinery, pumps, engines, and gearboxes can easily be made. Moreover, Everglue Silicone is resistant to hot water, steam, detergents, and weathering. It achieves very good adhesion without primer on porcelain, ceramic tiles, glass, enamel, aluminum, and smooth metals.
