The connectors of the Deans Ultra Plug type are made of gold-plated brass. The gold coating enhances conductivity and corrosion resistance while reducing the wear resulting from frequent insertion and removal of the plug and socket, positively affecting the lifespan. With just 0.45 mOhm, the electrical resistance of the connection is very low, allowing for a short-term current load of up to 50 A. To achieve this performance potential, we recommend using high-quality silicone cables with copper strands of 12 AWG or a diameter of 4 mm². The housing and sockets of the Deans Ultra Plug system are made of impact-resistant nylon, which remains temperature-resistant during soldering and does not deform immediately.
